Position Overview: This position will support a Project Manager and Superintendent in the Industrial Construction division.  Position will be based out of our Epping, ND office.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain a daily project diary and help establish project priorities
  • Daily timecard entry and approval
  • Track and record project costs, production quantities yield statistics, and onsite inventory counts
  • Compile cycle times and production information and log information for historical data
  • Gather pay items quantities and collect information on extra work items.
  • Conduct timely billing and reporting to maximize profit margins and positive cash flow
  • Manage and maintain department specific technology and computer programs
  • Document schedule delays and perform schedule updates
  • Assemble and distribute project plans and specification updates
  • Sustain a comprehensive understanding of the plans and specifications
  • Coordinate efforts with management, project technicians, and customer to maintain and meet project scheduling
  • Provide environment where dynamic project communication occurs between Project Technicians, Management, Superintendents and customers to ensure work is accomplished in an efficient, profitable and safe manner
  • Assist project in helping to meet or exceed expected margin


  • Experience in construction industry preferred
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering helpful but not required
  • Competent in all Microsoft products, proficient Excel skills
  • Strong work ethic, ability to prioritize and excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to work both in field an office settings and ability to work in a high production, fast moving environment

Potential Hazards:

  • Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures
  • Manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environment
  • Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels
  • Limited working surfaces
  • Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors
  • Exposure to areas with limited visibility

Essential Requirements:

  • Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
  • Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks

If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
